Your favorite fair, the Washington County Fair, might not be open to the public this year, but you can still support Washington County youth thanks to livestream services provided by KCTC at this link: https://www.kctc.net/washcofair-livestream/ The Axe Women Loggers of Maine are equally as disappointed that we won't get to take part in your fair this year - we were looking forward to meeting with old friends & new, exploring your community, seeing the "world's oldest continually operating cinema theatre" and of course, sharing with you our passion for world champion caliber logging sports...but we'll be there in 2021!! In the meantime, there are still LOTS of other cool activities in your neck of the woods - like visiting community or state parks, or a museum, or hiking a nature trail, supporting your local businesses, and helping out your local animal rescue shelter! Below are what we hope are some useful links that will help you enjoy your summer, help the local economy, support local youth programs, and help out your local animal rescue shelter! Although 2020 might be a "lemon" so far, it doesn't mean we can't make lemonade!
